The 1963 Armstrong 500 was the fourth Armstrong 500 touring car race and was held for the first time at the Mount Panorama Circuit just outside Bathurst in 1963. The Class A Volkswagen Beetle defeated a field of Morris 850s as well as one Fiat 770 and one Triumph Herald, with Barry Ferguson and Bill Ford taking first place.
